Evelyn P. Mariano has worked for the US ASEAN Business Council for more than eighteen years. She joined the Council in July 1992 and assumed the position as Trade Information Officer. In July of 2002, she assumed her duties as Coordinator of the Philippine Office.

In this capacity, Mariano is overseeing the Philippine member services and program activities in close coordination with Marc Mealy, Senior Director for Philippine Affairs based in Washington, DC. She is responsible to supply members with timely information updates and local support services; assist to heighten the Council's visibility and presence not only in Manila but the entire ASEAN through promotion, programs and other informational activities.

Prior to joining the Council, Mariano worked in the private sector with the Banco Filipino and PCIBank. Her work experience also include the food manufacturing sector and consultancy.

Mariano has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Banking and Finance. She is a Filipina, married and loving mother to a teenage daughter.
