Patrick Agudo Waterman is the Manager for Philippine Affairs. In August 2010, he started at the Council by providing support to our Membership Team and has also transitioned to Events and the Infrastructure Working Group.

Patrick holds a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from the University of California, Davis. He has also studied abroad at the University of Geneva in Switzerland and the University of the Philippines Diliman in Metro Manila.

Prior to joining the Council, Patrick authored an honors thesis on the “PH-US Visiting Forces Agreement: Security or Sovereignty.” He also completed a full-time internship in the Political / Legislative Section of the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Washington, DC. Patrick is a Filipino-American. He is proficient in Tagalog and is studying Bahasa Indonesia.
