Susan J. McKinney is Program Manager based in Singapore and coordinates and manages the Council’s Health and Life Sciences Working Group assisting members from the pharmaceutical, medical device and IT sectors on their healthcare and trade issues in ASEAN.

Previously, Susan also managed the Council’s interest for the state of Maryland’s Department of Business and Economic Development as the Southeast Asia Representative assisting SMEs entering ASEAN markets as well as targeting foreign direct investment from ASEAN to the state.

Prior to joining the Council in 2005, Susan worked in the private sector. She most recently served as a marketing communication specialist for an event management company in Singapore, and prior to that gained extensive experience with marketing management positions at Bionaire Inc and Revlon in Canada and Honeywell in Australia.

Susan holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science with emphasis in Consumer Behaviour from the University of Guelph, Canada and an MBA specializing in Finance and Investment from Griffith University, Australia.

Susan has resided in Australasia for more than twenty years.
