Philippines GIS Officials Orientation Visit  TDA is providing
funding for a delegation of Philippine project managers to visit the United States to become more familiar with U.S. equipment and technology in the geospatial information systems (GIS) sector. This orientation visit seeks to guarantee exposure for U.S. applications of GIS sensing technologies and
mapping/database software to the Philippine project managers involved in these procurements. Participants include representatives from agencies such as DENR, PAGASA National Weather Service, Department of Agriculture, Department of Public Works and Highways, and NAMRIA. The
