New Malaysian Ambassador to the United States

Former Malaysian Ministerof Science and Technology, Datuk Jamaluddin bin Mohd. Jarjis (JJ) is confirmed to be the next Ambassador of Malaysia to the United States. Ambassador Jamaluddin is to arrive in Washington in August.

Incomings at the U.S. Embassies in the Region

Thomas Daley will be the new Chief of Political and Economic Section of the U.S. Embassy in Vientianne, Laos. Mr. Daley is to arrive in late July.

James Mayfield will be the new Principal Commercial Officer at the U.S. Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
